Kubernetes: adoption, upgrades and operations
Your applications on AKS, EKS or GKE. Step by step, with GitOps, monitoring and a runbook for every service.
What we do
- Honestly assess whether Kubernetes makes sense for you. For many companies a simpler platform is the better choice, and we’ll tell you so.
- Build or fix the cluster (AKS, EKS, GKE) as code, with separate environments, network policies and identity management.
- Package applications into containers and Helm charts and deploy them via GitOps. The cluster state matches what’s in Git.
- Set up monitoring, alerts, autoscaling and backups. Every application gets a runbook: what to do when something breaks.
What you get
- A cluster that survives a node failure and an upgrade. Verified, not assumed.
- Deployment through Git. A change in the repository propagates to the cluster on its own, including rollback.
- Visibility into cost and performance. Which services cost how much and where there’s room to scale down.
- A team that can run it. Documentation and a workshop so the cluster isn’t a black box.
How we work
We start with an assessment using read-only access. Within a week you know what state the cluster is in and what needs doing. Upgrades and migrations are done in waves, always outside production first and with a prepared way back. Production changes only in an agreed window.
Typical engagements
Scope and price are agreed upfront. Most engagements fit into days and weeks, not months.
Cluster assessment
Scope: 1 weekDeprecated APIs and Helm charts, add-on compatibility, resilience to node failure, security and cost. The output is an upgrade or remediation plan with a fixed price.
Zero-downtime upgrade
Scope: 2–3 weeksFirst we fix what would block the upgrade. Then non-production, then production in waves in your maintenance window, with a prepared way back.
Kubernetes adoption
Scope: 6–8 weeks, up to 3 applicationsContainers, Helm charts and GitOps with ArgoCD. Applications moved in waves with a pilot and a parallel run, plus monitoring and a runbook for each of them.
Other services
Cloud: architecture, migration and cost
Design and build of environments in Azure, AWS or Google Cloud, migration of existing systems and a clear view of where your cloud money goes.
Service detailsCI/CD and deployment automation
Your application builds, tests and deploys itself. To dev, test and production, without manual steps or late-night deployments.
Service detailsInfrastructure as code
Servers, networks, identities and whole environments described in code and versioned in Git. Repeatable, auditable, no clicking in the portal.
Service detailsDevSecOps and infrastructure security
Security built into the cloud and the pipeline, not bolted on afterwards. Including the technical preparation for NIS2.
Service detailsOperations and monitoring: DevOps as a service
Monitoring, updates, patching and incident response for a monthly fee. A senior engineer part-time instead of a whole team.
